The Cutera laser combines the 755nm Alexandrite & 1064nm Nd:YAG wavelengths with new generation sapphire contact cooling to allow for lasting results, in a non-invasive, safe and comfortable way.
The 755nm wavelength targets finer, light and more superficial hair follicles while the 1064nm Nd:YAG wavelength targets the course dark hair follicles that are situated deeper in the skin. What sets this Cutera laser apart is brand new technology in the cooling department. The cooling sapphire tip prevents skin damage while still generating enough energy at different depths to be effective for all skin types (Fitzpatrick I-VI).

All of this impressive technology is nicely packaged in a single hand piece with one of the largest spot sizes (18mm) on the market allowing for much shorter treatment times.
