Dr. Carin Strydom

Dr. Carin Strydom is an esteemed practitioner and dedicated member of the North American Menopause Society.

Originally from South Africa, Dr. Strydom trained and qualified in the beautiful town of Stellenbosch. After completing her residency in George, South Africa, she worked in a number of medical disciplines in various areas of Canada before moving to Squamish in 2008.

Throughout her career, she has worked in general practice, with an emphasis on obstetrics, women’s health, and addressing the unique needs of children and seniors. After several years practicing in Squamish, she saw a void in women’s healthcare education and support, which inspired her to bring more women’s health services, events, and treatments to the Sea to Sky Corridor.

Her downtime is occupied with supporting her daughter Malica, a talented Mogul Ski Athlete on the Canadian Next Gen Team who represents Canada internationally in various disciplines! Carin also enjoys biking, hiking, and simply absorbing the wonderful culture that exists in Squamish.
